Goal
To establish a more engaging classroom using SmartPad technology in conjunction with their non touchscreen laptops.
What will be done with my students
Students ability to utilize digital platforms to their fullest are hindered due to them not having touchscreen laptops. I'm a huge proponent of the 'OneNote Class Notebook' because it assists me in connecting to my students. It allows me to organize lessons and share them with my students.
Benefits to my students
SmartPads allow students to write, draw and create as if their laptop had a touchscreen. 'OneNote's Class Notebook' features allow for sharing, collaboration, dynamic presentations, and enhanced organization. It provides a personal workspace for every student, a content library for handouts, and a collaboration space for lessons and creative activities.
Budget Narrative
There are a few different SmartPad brands that are recommended for classroom use. They run approximately $40 each. The above allows for me to have a class set that will be used with 150 students and can continue to be used in years to come.
