Goal

My goal is to help my students improve their speech sound production of the R sound when speaking in words, phrases, sentences and conversation using the Entire World of R Ultimate Program. This evidence based program will help assess the 32 variations of the R sound and develop a therapy plan to ensure correct production of this tricky sound and measure carry over inside and outside of the therapy room.  

 

What will be done with my students

My students will be assessed to determine which variations of the R sound need to be focused on and then a customized plan will be created for each student in order to break habits and dysfunctional patterns that have formed over time. Our therapy plan will utilize the probe lists within the program and focus on consistent drill and repetition of the R sound. 

 

Benefits to my students

Using this therapy program with my students will help them improve their speech sound production of the R sound when communicating. This will give my students the confidence to effectively share their thoughts and ideas with their peers and teachers at school!
