Goal

My goal is to take our third graders to the Conservancy of SWFL to learn about native and invasive species to the state of Florida and their habitat.

What will be done with my students

Our students will experience the Conservancy of SWFL hands on through a visit where they will learn about native and invasive species to the state of Florida and their habitats. They'll learn what is happening because of the invasive species and what is being done to help solve the problem. Students will enjoy a boat ride where they look at wildlife in their natural habitats and a guide will engage them with questions and stories about the area.
Students will also meet many animals from the area and learn what those animals need to survive.
Through a hands on experience students will learn about the wonders of nature.

Benefits to my students

Our students will take what they've learned in the classroom and experience it real life.

Budget Narrative

The project will benefit all third grade students at Mike Davis Elementary.
