Investor
Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Gina and Charlie Lostracco - $142.87
Goal
Our goal is to provide students with all the materials they need to create a lemonade stand. They will create everything from posters to advertise to the lemonade itself. They participate in this after reading the book series Lemonade Wars!
What will be done with my students
My students will read the novel series Lemonade Wars. Through this they will work on the concepts of central idea, context clues, point of view and many more concepts. Then they will create posters to hang around the school and go on the school news to advertise for their lemonade stand. They will make the lemonade and package it so it is ready to sell. During selling they collect money and will be doing math to count their money.
Benefits to my students
This benefits our students because they are reading, doing math and learning financial literacy. After their sale they can use the money that they make to choose class rewards. Last year our students choose to use the money for special rewards such as a pizza party, an ice cream party and much more for after their FAST assessments.
Budget Narrative
This will provide the students with all of the materials needed to make their lemonade!
