Goal
I am a new 3-D teacher at Lakewood High School and am replacing a teacher who was here for many years and tool tons of his own equipment out of the room. My goal is to replace the equipment and supply my artists with the tools and supplies they were expecting when they signed up for my class.
What will be done with my students
I teach 3D 1, 3D 2, Portfolio, and AP Art. My students will use the tools purchased with any grant money to complete projects for their AP portfolios and to compete for placements in PCSB Art Exhibits in galleries and museums in Pinellas County.
Benefits to my students
The students will be able to have the tools they need to complete innovative and and creative projects to further their aspirations as artists.
Describe the Students
My students are primarily African American demographic with about 40% of my students being ESE students. They range from beginners to more advanced artists.
Budget Narrative
These are prices from Home Depot. They are the main tools that are now missing from my 3-D art room that I'm looking to replace asap!
