Goal

To provide students more options to build prototype to test the viability of their products.

What will be done with my students

During the course of the semester, students develop a product idea, create a business plan, and test their product to their target market. They will then pitch their final business idea to potentially take their business further. The goal of this class is to provide students with the opportunity to learn how to start a business from start to finish.

Benefits to my students

The cricut device will allow students another tool to develop their prototypes to test their market with the students. This device will allow students to build and cut various materials in a professional manor to enhance their prototype and gain better feedback from their target market.

Budget Narrative

The Cricut Maker has the ability to cut several different materials including paper, vinyl, balsawood, sticker paper and faux leather. It can also cut stencil material so students would be able to make a stencil that they could use to paint onto other materials.
