Goal

I would love a large carpet for my students to sit on throughout the day.  

 

What will be done with my students

A large carpet could help students stayed engaged in our learning. We would love to have flexible seating so students can do work anywhere in the room and take ownership in their work. My most important goal is to make sure students feel safe and comfortable when entering my classroom. This large rug is large enough for all students to have a comfortable place on the carpet when doing activities altogether. As a class, there are different activities we want to do more on the carpet, but we need a carpet large enough to have room, giving students that space, they need to be able to focus on our activities and to have more room for social distancing since the pandemic. 

 

Benefits to my students

The expected outcome from adding a larger carpet to the classroom is that students would be engaged in their work. It would also give us the safe classroom environment so we can have circle time to bond with each other.
