Goal

My goal is to purchase Versatiles Math Small Group Kits to be used for a math resource during my lesson/rotations to engage the students learning with other materials and manipulatives.  

 

What will be done with my students

Versatiles are an engaging way to reinforce math skills within the classroom. Versatiles are aligned with state and national standards. As students solve math problems, they are actively moving tile pieces. After completing all problems, students are able to close and flip the answer case to reveal a pattern. This allows them to check their work independently. Activity books cover a variety of math concepts and allow for easy differentiation within the classroom.

Benefits to my students

Acquiring Versatiles Small Group Kits for my students will provide an additional way for students to practice math skills independently. Students will be more engaged using Versatiles than they would be with a traditional math workbook or worksheet. By integrating Versatiles activities into our math rotations, students will build math proficiency in a variety of math concepts.
