Goal
Our goal is to use Mystery Science to supplement our curriculum to engage students in learning.
What will be done with my students
There is a large variety of Mystery Science Lessons to enhance student learning. Using a free trial of this program, we taught animal adaptations. The online program gave step by step instructions where the students "role played" different types of lizards on an island that use their physical characteristics to survive and then adapt to a new environment. The students were enthusiastic and motivated to participate.
Benefits to my students
Mystery Science meets the needs of all types of learners and academic levels. The audio-visual aspect as well as the provided handouts, provide the students with a variety of resources to meet their educational needs.
Describe the Students
We have a wide variety of students who are ESE, English Language Learners, students with Speech and Language services, as well as several in the Gifted program.
I am specifically requesting this membership for our 4th grade students, however, the membership will be good for the entire school to use.

This grant money will be used to supplement the mystery science program for our school.
