Goal
The objective of this project is to try and get more students interested in reading. I work with students who hate reading because it's hard for them and struggling with phonics. I'm hoping with purchasing these digital books, I can start getting the families involved in the child's reading, start getting the students more interested in reading, and reading more often.
What will be done with my students
My students will be reading decodable books at school and at home. The purpose of having the digital books is for students to increase their fluency rate as well as being able to have access to the book on their grade level to read anytime they want.
Benefits to my students
The students who will be benefiting from the grant will be ESE students who struggle with reading. I will measure the success of the curriculum through oral fluency assessments.
Describe the Students
My students are low performing ESE students. They struggle with identifying all their sounds, letters, and blends. Most of the students are reading below the average rate for students their age.

The budge will be used to buy digital decodables for students to have access at home and at school.
