Goal

My goal is to continue and improve the Entrepreneurship Club, named Bobcat Boutique at Eden Park. This club allows the students to create, make and market their products throughout the school and beyond. This years theme is Game On level up, so we need to do the same with the Bobcat Boutique.

What will be done with my students

The students will create items and/or personalized items. The students returning will become leaders and recruit and train the next grade level students on how to run the Bobcat Boutique. The students will continue with the favorites and add items themed for the school year. This club has access to a variety of equipment that we have received through grants over the year. These materials will help them create using sublimation, resin, and engrave with the laser. 

 

Benefits to my students

The kids in the club will learn and teach what it costs to run a "shop". They will have to create designs that will work, are reasonable in cost and determine how much to sell it for. The profits would be used to buy more materials to continue working on in the club, raise money for end of year trips, and to learn to give back to the community with Cricut for a Cause. In Immokalee we are fortunate to have so much support and help for our students, this will teach them to give back.
