Goal
This year I will be teaching Science and Writing, and I would like to have literature and hands on activities for the students to use and help them fully grasp how wonderfully Science and Writing can work together.

What will be done with my students
Student love science but usually not writing so much. I want to show them that combining the two can lead to amazing discussions and discoveries. I want to show them that explaining and giving others information about science in the form of writing helps to connect and make other people excited about what you are learning and what you are still wondering about.
Benefits to my students
Students will have the opportunity to share their science findings as well as explore the different avenues to write. This will lead them to become not just proficient in science but also in their writing styles. The final outcome will be their STEM Fair projects as well as the Writing for FSA in April.
