Goal

My goal is to be able to engage my students using short engaging video clips to deepen their understanding of the science and mathematics learning goals that will be taught throughout the school year. Brainpop Jr. is a fun and engaging platform and students love playing the learning games and using the short quizzes to see that they have mastered content that they have been taught. Brainpop Jr. will also enable my students to research different topics such as habitats, life cycles, rocks, perimeter, area and so many more STEM topics either on their own or in small groups.

What will be done with my students

My students will use Brainpop Jr. to research different topics such as habitats, life cycles, rocks, perimeter, area and so many more to name just a few. The Brainpop Jr. technology platform will allow my students to work independently, in small groups and as a whole class to deepen their understanding of content that they will learn about in the areas of science and mathematics. 

 

Benefits to my students

My students will benefit from using this program because it will empower them to learn key content elements that they will be taught in science and mathematics in a fun and engaging way. 

 

Budget Narrative

I will need $175 to renew my Brainpop Jr. membership. This would allow me to continue to engage my students in a fun and intriguing way as we dig deep into science and math content in 2nd grade.
