What will be done with my students

Implementing tools like charting paper, a class carpet, and a reading chair can benefit students by enhancing their experiences in the classroom. Charting paper allows for interactive and visual learning, helping students retain new information effectively. A class carpet creates a flexible and inclusive environment, fostering a sense of community and encouraging group discussions, which can enhance comprehension and engagement. Lastly, the reading chair, a designated spot for read-alouds, makes reading lessons more enjoyable and focused, promoting a love for reading and expanding vocabulary. 

 

Benefits to my students

Together, these tools create a dynamic and supportive learning atmosphere that boosts student participation and academic growth. My goal as an educator is to boost at least 85% of the scholars to achieve the 65th% and to grow past the 2nd grade reading level towards reading fluency. I've been able to beat the goal before and hope that this year the success continues!
