Goal

To integrate project-based learning into any course teachiing skills in a fun way but also adhering to course standards.

Category

Learning Aids - Sunshine state book sets, robotics kits, puzzle boards, science models, engineering supplies, etc.

What will be done with my students

Students will have the opportunity to complete a variety of projects based on the learning goal of the course.

"TechnoKids publishes a collection of technology projects with ready-made lessons. Each project includes a teacher guide, student workbook, and customizable resources. The instructional materials are ideal for computer instructors, classroom teachers, homeschool educators, media specialists, and librarians. Blend the project-based activities into an existing curriculum unit, combine technology projects to form a course, or teach a set of lessons as part of a workshop series."

Benefits to my students

TechnoKids is ideal for classroom, digital literacy, STEM, CTE, and media arts teachers. The license is a site license so that any teacher at Golden Gate Middle will be able to utilize the resources using Microsoft 365 applications and programming applications.

"TechnoKids Technology Projects support STEM education. The lessons teach word processing, spreadsheet, graphic
design, presentation, programming, web design, internet, digital literacy, animation, and data management skills.
Students gain proficiency in Information Communication and Technology (ICT). Refer to the Skill Summary in each
teacher guide for learning objectives. Technology projects correlate to ISTE Standards."

Budget Narrative

The fee will cover a site license for unlimited uses by all teachers and students at Golden Gate Middle School (GGMS). The company provides a TechnoKids Hub with a specific logon and password for GGMS teachers.
