Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Lipman Family Farms - $36.00
Goal
After teaching grades 2-5 for 30 years, I've decided to follow my dream of becoming an art teacher. This year I will be teaching art in grades K-5 at Village Oaks Elementary School. I always want to be prepared for my lessons and ready for the next class coming in my room so I'm hoping to create an Organization Station to hold all of my materials needed for each of my lessons throughout the day.
Category
School supplies - Markers, paints, paper, crayons, clay, pencils, sharpies, modeling dough, etc.
What will be done with my students
The bins I have chosen to complete my Organization Station have six spaces to hold materials. Students will be working with many mediums and will need to have these materials organized ahead of time for them to be successful with each of my activities. I will be teaching six classes each day so twelve bins will allow me to organize materials ahead of time in order to be prepared for the days ahead.
Benefits to my students
With materials prepared and organized ahead of time for each of my classes, students will have more time to explore their activities, practice the elements of art, and find success with visual arts. I will be able to greet each new class at the door and welcome them into my room without having to spend time away from the students to arrange materials.
Budget Narrative
Each bin will cost $3.00.
Twelve bins will cost a total of $36.00.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
