Goal
The goal in using Generation Genius as a supplementary resource is to elaborate, deepen, and extend student understanding of the natural world around them.
Category
Learning Aids - Sunshine state book sets, robotics kits, puzzle boards, science models, engineering supplies, etc.
What will be done with my students
Generation Genius will be used as a supplemental resource to reinforce and enrich the Florida standards that are taught. Each student will be able to access the videos, activities, reading materials and games in the classroom and at home.
Benefits to my students
Generation Genius will benefit the students by helping bring science to life, using engaging videos and activities. The students love watching their peer-aged kids doing science in the videos, which helps them make personal connections as well.
Budget Narrative
The district previously paid for this program for all teachers in the district, but has since gone through budget cuts, and had to cut this program. The students loved this program!
