Goal

The Surf Desk allows for flexible seating for students who struggle with the traditional table and chair setting. Surf desks are portable and used on the floor so students have the flexibility to work anywhere in the classroom.

What will be done with my students

Students will have the option to use a surf desk if it suits their needs for flexible seating and or if they prefer to work on the floor nearer the front board.  

 

Benefits to my students

Students that require a more flexible seating approach to completing work will have another option besides traditional table and chair. Students who like to be closer to the front board will have the option to use a surf chair to complete work. These will also be useful during collaborative learning lessons as it will allow for a group of students to sit together on the floor and still have a surface to work on.  

 

Budget Narrative

I am asking for a set of 10 Surf Chairs at $145.49 and one Surf Chair Storage Rack at $99.99 to add to my classroom.
