Goal

To ignite the spirits of young boys and girls through the exhilarating power of cheerleading! Imagine the joy and unity that comes from donning a team uniform, granting them the incredible experience of being part of a true cheerleading squad. For many of these students, coming from low-income families, the financial burdens of this sport are crushing, leaving them unable to chase their dreams. I yearn to open the doors of opportunity for these young hearts, to offer them a genuine cheerleading journey that shows them even the wildest dreams are within reach.

What will be done with my students

In this vibrant world of cheerleading, students come together as a cohesive team, cultivating lifelong skills that transcend the classroom—skills of communication, resilience, and camaraderie. Participating in cheerleading unveils a world of possibilities that would otherwise remain locked away. It allows them the chance to collaborate and bond with peers they might never have encountered, nurturing friendships that will last a lifetime. Let us empower these students, reminding them that with passion and teamwork, they can soar high above their challenges and embrace the extraordinary!

As I’ve shared before, participating in this sport comes with a hefty price tag, and the cost of uniforms can weigh heavily on families. Yet, these uniforms are more than just fabric—they are a lasting testament to our school’s spirit, a source of immense pride that students will carry with them for years. Every time they don these uniforms, they won’t just sport a team identity; they will embody camaraderie and a shared passion that connects them deeply to one another. I am utterly passionate about providing students with this genuine cheerleading experience, one that not only fosters their athletic abilities but also equips them with invaluable skills that extend far beyond the classroom. My fervent desire is to nurture the leaders of tomorrow, instilling in them a sense of purpose, resilience, and community that will guide them through life’s many challenges. 

 

Budget Narrative

To acquire the 20 uniforms, I would require an estimated amount of $1,500. This total encompasses the customized uniform tops, skirted bottoms, and hair bows, as well as applicable taxes and shipping fees. The vendor that I have chosen is Omni Cheer and upon perusing other sites, they are the most reasonably priced for an order such as this.
