Goal
Journalism is a new and exciting elective being offered at NNMS. The goal is to provide these new roving reporters with the tools needed to create amazing video segments for our daily live morning news program and to allow them to take amazing photos of our student population for our yearbook production.

What will be done with my students
Students will be using digital cameras for yearbook photos. Students will be using digital video camera for roving reporter interviews with teachers, students and administration.
Benefits to my students
The benefits of having the latest technology available to them provides my students will real-world knowledge and skills they can take with them long after they leave NNMS. These cameras will allow my Journalism students to gain first-hand experience with the latest and greatest video and photo equipment.
Budget Narrative
I will use this grant to purchase a video camera for interviews,2 digital cameras for photos and the needed camera supplies. I will provide the students with a donut party to celebration the culmination of our inaugural year for Journalism at NNMS.
