Goal

My goal is to provide all students with quality, durable, and comfortable headphones while working independently on their laptops in my technology class. I have opted to ask for the USB plug style headset as opposed to a single plug cord for operational reasons. In the past many of these headphone single plug jacks would break off with improper usage. I would love to have two complete class sets of 30 so that I may have them available should I need to double up on classes throughout the year or our class numbers go up in Related Arts.

What will be done with my students

Students will use the headphones to complete activities, lessons, and assessments for me throughout the year. There are many lessons this year and in the futures, especially in the upper grades, which require the students to have and use the microphone extension piece as well.  

 

Benefits to my students

Good quality headphones are essential for students and having headphones available if a student who may not have one will help them hear clearly while working on their daily lessons and assessments.  

 

Budget Narrative

The budget covers 60 pairs of kid’s headphones for students to use while in the technology class
