Goal

Students will be provided with a comfortable space to complete their work in, resulting in 100% of my students scoring proficient or higher on PM3 in May 2024.

What will be done with my students

My students love working around the room! This gives them a space to work independently or with others in their own space, without interruptions.

When students are given choice, they are more likely to work productively and produce amazing things. Providing my students with comfortable seating options will make it so they won't have to sit directly on the floor when choosing to work around the room. I will plan to setup rules and procedures for these items the day after they arrive! Students will have the option to use them daily.

I have 15 students that are assigned to me, but these flexible seating options will also impact students that are in my room for lunch bunches, enrichment groups, robotics & STEM club, and more! 

 

Benefits to my students

My students will be absolutely thrilled to have the following items within my room. I am positive that they will be more engaged in their work and will ultimately increase test scores. I will monitor their FAST and STAR assessments to monitor if 100% of my students scored proficient or higher on PM3 in May 2024.
