Goal
Meeting our goals for team building: All equipment will be used to improve our student's "team building" skills.
"Ollie the Octopus", "Stella the Starfish", and "Sid the Spider" sets will be used to promote our students "team building" skills! Students work together to launch and catch these special creatures! Students work in teams to launch and catch- students will receive points when they are successful! Working together for a common goal will be our mission!
The "Action! Bonkerzball Set" will promote "team building" by students trying to work together as a team and be the first one to move their target across the throwing line! Showing good sportsmanship and learning how to target throw, and catch in a teamwork atmosphere will be our main goal!
Omnikin Ultra Balls will be used to increase and promote "team building" by introducing a variety of games and activities in a team setting. Students learn problem-solving skills, cooperation skills, and the ability to collaborate with others!
Category
Physical Education Equipment - Rackets, bats, balls, nets, jump ropes, etc.
What will be done with my students
All student's in our school will be able to use this new equipment! All four Physical Education teachers will be able to oversee and monitor all activities with our new "team building" equipment! We would use the equipment immediately in our Physical Education classes!
Currently, we use parachutes for our character education unit- “Ollie”, “Stella”, and “Sid the Spider” will be used with these parachutes to teach our students how use parachutes, work together in teams and participate with a common goal in Physical Education!
The “Bonkerzball” set will allow students to participate in a team setting to learn how to “target” throw and catch. Student work together to try to get the “bonkerzball” across team lines!
The “Omnikin Ultra” Balls will allow students to play on teams - 1.) to work together (team work skills)with their classmates to have fun! 2..) learn new rules, games and activities 3.) to accomplish the goal of collaboration with teammates, problem solving, and sportsmanship!
New games to be played- “the blob” tag, “ the corridor”, monster truck”, “kinball”, and “parachute hijinks”.
Benefits to my students
Our students would “LOVE “ this new equipment!!
There is such a great need for “team building” equipment in Physical Education programs.
