Investor
Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
The St. Joe Community Foundation - $1,479.00
Goal
To purchase a new iMac computer for writing and arranging music to be played by the band.
Category
Electronics - Personal computers/tablets/iPads, headphones, charging cables, computer mice, etc.
What will be done with my students
Students will be given the opportunity to play and create new music. Students will also have the opportunity to perform the music created with this computer in front of the community at football games and concerts.
Benefits to my students
My students will grow in their musical abilities. This computer would allow me to write my students new warm-ups and scale exercises.
Our students deserve the best music education possible; this computer can help make that happen. This iMac would impact 50 students this year. However, the band program is projected to grow to over 120 in the next five years. This computer would impact not only the students enrolled in the band program but also the thousands of people in the community through our performances.
