Goal
The goal of this project is to provide students with hands-on experience in robotics, fostering their problem-solving skills, creativity, teamwork, and leadership. Through the use of the robotics set from the "First" company, students will not only engage in STEM learning but also develop leadership abilities by taking initiative, guiding their peers in collaborative projects, and making key decisions during team challenges. This will equip students with both technical and interpersonal skills crucial for future success.
Category
Learning Aids - Sunshine state book sets, robotics kits, puzzle boards, science models, engineering supplies, etc.
What will be done with my students
Students will engage in building, programming, and testing robots as part of their curriculum. These activities will include team-based challenges where students can take on leadership roles, such as managing tasks, making design decisions, or troubleshooting technical issues. The robotics set will also be used in STEM projects that encourage students to lead discussions, assign responsibilities, and foster a collaborative learning environment.
Benefits to my students
The robotics set will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities that reinforce classroom instruction in mathematics, science, and engineering. It will spark their interest in technology while also enhancing leadership qualities, such as communication, decision-making, and accountability. Students will learn how to work effectively as a team, take ownership of their projects, and develop resilience through problem-solving—all of which will prepare them for future academic and career paths in STEM and beyond.
