Goal
Increase access for communication of non-speaking students within self-contained ESE classrooms with presentation of iPad with speech generating communication application.

What will be done with my students
iPads will be utilized for modeling communication and supporting communication with peers and staff throughout school day. This ipad will provide speech generating application for icon activation to form phrases and sentences of requests, questions, comments, and converstional skills for students. This device would be utilized within all academic settings for the students and impower them with a voice within their day.
Benefits to my students
Giving a student/child access to a speech generating application on an ipad will open many opportunities of communication and engagement within his/her school day. These non-speaking students will have all modalities present for any communication to be encouraged and growth to be supported.
