Goal
My educational goal for this project is to teach Kindergarten students the letters and sounds of the alphabets through hands on cooking. Also, they will learn how to follow directions, how to measure, how to count and how to write recipes.
What will be done with my students
My students will get to taste and make different foods that begin with the letter of the week. They will learn what letter the food begins with and what sound it makes. Also, they will follow directions by reading recipes, measure amounts of food that it takes to make a food item, they will count quantity that they need to make a food and they will write food recipes.
Benefits to my students
The benefits of this project will help my students learn the letters and sounds of the alphabets incorporated with hands on activities through cooking.
