Goal

To have as many students possible using tablets every day to increase their practice of learning letters, phonics, reading books, learning numbers, shapes and practicing addition and subtraction problems.

What will be done with my students

The students will use the tablets for various learning activities to increase their reading and math skills. They can be used as listening centers by using QR Codes and would be like having another teacher guiding them during small groups, They can use learning Apps that re-enforce skills they are needing extra practice in or enrich skills for those that need to be

Benefits to my students

This will allow all 17 of my students to have 30 minutes a day to practice and enrich Kindergarten skills through apps on the tablets. It will allow more small group instruction with out interruptions because of 5 year olds not being able to work mice or keyboards with their small hands.

Budget Narrative

This request is for 8 Epik Learning Tablets already in In Gel Cases from Wal Mart total is 479.84 W/O Tax, Was not sure if it would Qualify for tax free If is does not then I will pay the tax to keep the funding under $500.
