Goal

Students will be able to create unique drawings in two-point perspective totally on their own after learning the process in a unit created and taught by the art instructor.It takes no less than 12 lessons to be able to draw a two point perspective drawing as shown above. 

 

What will be done with my students

Students will learn to draw at least twelve drawings in both one and two point perspective with pencil. Then, after they master these skills, they will use permanent marker to create a final prototype on paper. After the prototype is correct the students will use India ink to create a final project on illustration board in pencil and permanent India ink 

 

Benefits to my students

This drawing lesson will enable students to see the world differently from an artist's vantage point. As they go out into our world they will be increasingly aware of their surroundings visually. They will be able to depict their surroundings in the correct geometrical sale as did DaVinci. This type of drawing will help them in drafting and geometry.Students may even consider an artistic carrier such as architecture from this project.
