Goal
My goal is to raise funds to encourage participation in the schools science fair. I would like to purchase science display boards, student awards (trophies), and provide volunteers with pizza for all the help they provide.
What will be done with my students
The school science fair will help promote science interest and encourage parent and community involvement with our school. Student will design, develop and conduct a science experiment to be placed on display. They will then present their projects to the fair judges and community. Winners will be recommended to participate in the county science fair.
Benefits to my students
Our goal is to encourage the scientific thinking process of our students as well as build they presentation skills. We also hope to develop a community connection by encouraging parents and local professionals to mentor our students, helping them along the way.
Budget Narrative
3 Trophies per grade level for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
2 Trophies per grade level for one team prize per grade level.
Enough display boards for each student entering
Pizza and soda for judges and volunteers
