Goal

My goal is to celebrate success in my classroom by providing students with recognition. This will boost motivation and create a positive learning environment.

What will be done with my students

Students will celebrate their success in our classroom by visiting the Celebration Station. This special spot features a bell that students ring and a bucket where they place their name after passing a lesson on iReady or a Reading Counts test. After ringing the bell, their classmates will cheer them on with a quick cheer! This fun activity aims to motivate everyone to do their best work.

Another feature of our Celebration Station is the Star Leader of the Week. This title goes to a student who has demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout the week. By combining intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, we aim to create a caring and compassionate learning environment.

Benefits to my students

The Celebration Station will provide students with motivation from both their classmates and teacher, encouraging them to continue to strive to do their best work. This positive reinforcement will help further a love of learning.
