Goal

Students will be able to explore their vpk classroom environment using multisensory activities. They will learn through play on their light table!

What will be done with my students

Enriching the VPK curriculum and providing them with a calming, sensory environment to learn and grow.

Benefits to my students

Learning through play! There are so many learning enrichment activities for them to have fun with a light table! This also will help create a calming learning environment, especially for my ASD students.

Describe the Students

We are a blended VPK classroom. 5 students are ESE and 13 are gen.ed. We have two non-verbal students and use a multi-sensory approach to learning in our classroom. We are all about learning through play and creating a safe, loving and calming classroom environment.

This is for a blended ESE classroom. Most ESE students are ASD and nonverbal. We want to help create a more calming, sensory environment for all to learn :)
