Goal
Students will be able to be an engaged and fluent learner in literacy in 3rd grade.
What will be done with my students
Students will use the requested materials during Language Arts block in 3rd Grade. They will be using headphones for a listening center, books for AR, and Language Arts stations through Lakeshore. They will be learning literacy through hands on activities and resources that will help them become fluent readers.
Benefits to my students
Students will be using the requested materials to enhance reading comprehension, reading fluency, and engage them in literacy. They will be working and collaborating with peers and being an equal part in their learning during center time. These items will engage them and get them excited about reading.
Budget Narrative
Book set to read for AR with their peers. Lakeshore set will be used for comprehension practice with task cards. The lakeshore match and sort will engage them in their learning with peers. The headphones will be used for a listening comprehension center. The teacher created I have Who Has is a learning game for students to engage in with peers. Spelligator game will help lower level students with Word Study during peer to peer learning.
