My goal is to turn my classroom into a Red Carpet event for our culminating Wax Museum Research Project event.

What will be done with my students
Every year our third grade students select a historical figure to research. They become an expert on their person and memorize a biography speech to present to their families. The students transform themselves into their historical figure and present a speech for visitors. I would love to have a red carpet to lay out in my classroom to really bring the event to life.
Benefits to my students
This project is the biggest research assignment the students complete in third grade. It gives them the opportunity to learn while working across all subjects to transform into their historical figure. Having a red carpet would transform our classroom into a museum.
Budget Narrative
This budget includes a 3 x 15 red roll out carpet to use every year for our Wax Museum Project Event. This price includes tax.
