Goal
To provide a stress-free environment throughout the workday for all staff, by offering coping strategies, access to research-based articles about health-related topics, exercise sessions, and usage of exercise equipment, and various tools for relaxation. To persuade staff to use the room and identify staff stress levels before and after their visit by completing a brief survey.

What will be done with my students
The demands of the workplace for teachers and staff alike heighten stress levels and diminish focus. Creating a sanctuary for teachers to enter and immerse themselves in tranquility for 20-30 minutes, to regain calmness and focus would be beneficial. Having an environment that is serene and peaceful can improve the wellbeing of the staff members, which can lead to increased efficiency in the workplace. better relationships with colleagues and students, and hopefully retain employees.
Benefits to my students
Hillsborough High School is a public school with about 130 faculty members, that is, teachers, administrations, secretaries, custodians, and nutrition staff. A Zen room is a place to provide serenity for all personnel during the workday to reclaim their energy throughout their body and mind. Being stress-free leads to better outcomes for all individuals within the school.
