Goal

Students will work collaboratively to design and create attractive prints using a Dremel 3D printer, which will ultimately be sold from our print shop as part of their Career Experience class.

What will be done with my students

My students will be taught the basics of Entrepreneurship, beginning with an introduction of common business terms, and then creating a logo for our mini-business, writing a mission statement, developing a marketing and business plan, and constructing a concise, engaging pitch for our products. Students will design and create 3D prints and be responsible for their inventory, including pricing, advertising and making transactions in our print shop.  

 

Benefits to my students

Students will develop lifelong skills while working in a real-world business environment. In addition to learning financial literacy, marketing, and strategic thinking, students will be cultivating soft skills and practicing leadership. Students will be highly engaged, enthusiastic learners, improving their communication and problem-solving skills and increasing their self-motivation.
