Goal

My goal as a Math Coach and Resource Teacher is to "bring education to life in my classroom with academic game-based challenges that strengthen student engagement and content knowledge" for all ages and subject areas!

What will be done with my students

Since I work with all students and grade levels, and hold a daily 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Math Lab, each activity I choose for math and science will "reinforce subject matter and curriculum concepts, as well as fosters critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and student collaboration!" 

 

Benefits to my students

Students with all academic abilities have the chance to collaborate with their peers as they engage in a series of critical thinking type puzzles and challenges while using and practicing the BEST math standards all while having fun!  

 

Budget Narrative

The annual subscription plus a kit for $199.00 gives access to all the digital and printable puzzles and resources necessary to engage in the learning! The additional kit and locks allows for maximum engagement since ideally, the challenge is more beneficial with smaller groups of students. The total of $381.28 includes a full annual membership with several opportunities for Breakout FUN, two kits and everything that comes with them including multiple various locks needed for the boxes, smaller box, hatch, spy pen, reflection cards, and a lot more with tax and delivery included. I have used these kits with 2nd graders all the way up to 5th graders and they all absolutely LOVE the experience and always ask when they can come back for another Breakout challenge!
