Goal

To get our vet science lab up and running for this school year. This includes buying the items to have a proper running dog spa day and PPE for the lab.

What will be done with my students

Students will have the opportunity to learn how to care for kittens in a fostering program and start our dog spa day. The dog spa day will only students to learn proper care and grooming for their Certified Veterinary Assistance Certification. This lab will be used multiple times a week between dissections and the dog spa day.  

 

Benefits to my students

Meeting standards in the Veterinary Science curriculum and signing off of the checklist that is provided for the certified vet assistance. Students to learn what is proper PPE and how to correctly wear it during labs.  

 

Budget Narrative

This supply kit will help us finish off the last need items to get our vet science lab up and running. The list will provide enough material for class size of 40 students.
