Goal

Legends of Learning supports teachers in transforming classrooms into enjoyable and effective learning spaces through research-backed, curriculum-oriented. The program is curriculum-based and games aimed at enhancing subject understanding and fostering classroom participation. Legends of Learning will serve as a platform to extend student learning.

What will be done with my students

Students will be using Legends of Learning as a supplement to learning. The program is based around Florida Standards and the activities will be aligned with the learning that is occurring in the classroom. Students will be able to use the program both at home and at school. This will help to reinforce the concepts taught in the classroom, and be used as an extension of learning at home. The program is set up so that teachers can see how much progress the student is making in that concept, as well as their overall performance on a certain standards. This can then be used to help clarify topics that students may be struggling with.  

 

Benefits to my students

Students will be engaged in learning about important concepts that are based on the 6th grade Florida Standards. The high-achieving students can use this as an extension of learning, while the students that need more support can use this as a reinforcement tool.  

 

Budget Narrative

This will give all the students and teachers in 6th grade access the program, data, and tools within the Legends of Learning program.
