Goal

My goal is to empower students through recognition and motivation, fostering a positive classroom environment by rewarding their achievements with brag tags.

What will be done with my students

Students will earn individual brag tags throughout the school year. They can earn the these tags in many ways through positive behavior, reading and math achievements. When students are successful in math or reading assignments/lessons they will get to pick a brag tag to add to their brag tag ring. They may also earn non-academic ones by showing positive behavior in or outside of the classroom. At the end of the school year students will get to take home their ring of brag tags showing off their school year accomplishments. 

 

Benefits to my students

These brag tags will increase my students' motivation. Brag tags serve as tangible rewards, encouraging students to engage more actively in reading, math, and positive behavior. They create a sense of achievement and inspire students to strive for more. By rewarding good behavior and academic success, brag tags reinforce desirable actions, helping to build a classroom culture focused on respect, responsibility, and hard work.

Brag tags can help students set personal goals, such as mastering a math concept, completing a reading challenge, or consistently displaying positive behavior.  

 

Budget Narrative

Brag tags for student incentives. Keychain ring wire for students to put their brag tags on. Grid plastic organizer to store and display brag tags making it easier for students to pick a brag tag once they have earned one.
