Goal
This grant will provide crucial support to students who might otherwise be unable to afford their learner's permits. To fund learner's license fees for students at a Title I high school, removing financial barriers and providing essential driving education to those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.

What will be done with my students
Student's will obtain a learner's license which is a critical step in developing independence and future mobility, offering students greater opportunities for employment and personal growth. Student will take Class E Knowledge Exam at school with Certified Teacher (who is always a state delap examiner) at no cost. Upon passing score of 40, student will visit the DMV for Learner's permit which grant will fund for 20 students.
Benefits to my students
The funding will directly alleviate the financial burden on students and their families, many of whom face economic challenges and lack access to personal vehicles. This ensures that all students have the opportunity to participate in the driver's education program.
Budget Narrative
The requested grant amount of $1000 will be allocated entirely to covering the learner's permit fees for Title 1 High School Students. Each learner's permit costs approximately $54.25, allowing us to support 20 students through this initiative.
