The goal of this project is to create and promote a safer, kinder, and more positive school environment.

School-Wide, Grade-Level, Or Class Events/Programs - Parent Nights, Honor Roll Celebrations, EOY Events, etc. 

 

What will be done with my students

Students are recognized as Mindset Champions when they represent or demonstrate the Mindset of the Month nominated by their teacher or classmates.

Students benefit from this project by:
- Receiving an article of clothing that can be used as a spirit shirt (uniform)
- Students promote the key concepts of the 7 Mindsets curriculum to themselves, the community, their family, and other students when they wear the t-shirt.
- Developing a more positive and kinder school will improve our students' academics by providing a safe learning environment and increasing their motivation to attend school.  

 

Benefits to my students

We will increase the belief that people are not disrespectful to others on campus from 23% (34) to 35% (54) students based on Panorama Survey results.

By improving our school climate and resiliency skills through promoting 7 Mindsets our I-Ready's Annual Typical Growth Score will increase from 56% to 60% demonstrating academic growth.
