Goal

My goal with this grant is to expand on my classroom economy by getting fun prizes for the students. I want to make learning even more exciting and give students a reason to stay motivated. By rewarding their hard work, I also teach them about responsibility and make school a place where they look forward to achieving and earning rewards.

What will be done with my students

Here’s how it works: Students earn “classroom money” for doing things like completing homework, participating in class, passing tests, making growth on iReady, earning Accelerated Reading points, and more. They can then spend this money on the prizes from our classroom store. It’s a great way for them to see how their efforts pay off and to make learning a lot more fun. 

 

Benefits to my students

With this grant, students will gain many valuable benefits. For starters, having a range of appealing prizes will increase their motivation. Knowing there are rewarding options available will make them more enthusiastic and committed to doing their best in class. Additionally, managing their “classroom money” and selecting prizes will help them learn about responsibility and the value of their efforts. This will encourage them to work harder, which should lead to improved academic performance and personal development. They'll also pick up practical skills like budgeting and setting goals that will be useful in their future. Plus, with a variety of prizes to choose from, the learning experience will become more engaging and enjoyable. Overall, this system will make school more stimulating and provide students with important tools for success.
