Goal

Secure a donor to purchase the Securly Pass Digital Hall Pass System by May 30th, 2025 to enhance our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program by effectively monitoring student behavior and managing incentives.

Identify and approach potential donors to fund the Securly Pass, which will help track student behavior and reward positive actions within our PBIS framework.

The Securly Pass will be instrumental in our PBIS program, allowing us to effectively monitor student behavior and provide appropriate incentives, ultimately improving student engagement and performance. Students will earn currency by following rules and procedures in classrooms, the cafeteria, and the gym. This currency will allows students to "purchase" a pass to come and enjoy the game room. Self-Regulation will be as needed to de-escalate students. Our school serves students that have behavioral needs beyond the scope of most middle schools. This room allows students a safe space to work out their feelings.

What will be done with my students

The Securly Digital Pass system can provide several key benefits for students, particularly within the framework of a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program

1. Enhanced Safety and Security:
- Real-Time Monitoring: Securly Pass allows for real-time tracking of students' locations on campus, ensuring that they are where they are supposed to be. This enhances overall school safety by preventing unauthorized movements and ensuring quick responses in case of emergencies.
- Digital Records: The system keeps a digital record of student movements, making it easier to track attendance, tardiness, and even patterns that might indicate a need for additional support.
2. Streamlined Behavioral Tracking:
- Fair and Consistent Rewards: With a digital system, it's easier to ensure that rewards and consequences are applied consistently, which is critical for maintaining fairness in the PBIS system.
3. Improved Student Accountability:
-Student Empowerment: Students can use the pass system to check in and out of various locations on campus, fostering a sense of responsibility and accountability for their own movements.
- Self-Monitoring: By receiving immediate feedback on their behavior and movements, students are encouraged to self-monitor and make better decisions, knowing that their actions are being tracked.
4. Facilitates Positive Reinforcement:
- Incentive Management: Securly Pass can be integrated with your PBIS incentives, making it easy to track which students are meeting the criteria for rewards. This automation reduces administrative burdens and ensures timely recognition of positive behavior. In the event of behavior issues in the game room, students must earn the PBIS positive behavior model to gain access.
- Goal Setting: Students can set personal behavior goals and track their progress through the system, which can be a powerful motivator for maintaining positive behavior. Our students living with behavioral disabilities are allotted specific time in the room based on their personal PBIS tracking.

5. Supports Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Behavioral Insights: The system provides detailed reports and analytics on student behavior, helping educators identify trends and make informed decisions about interventions and support.
- Targeted Interventions: By analyzing the data, schools can tailor interventions to specific students or groups, ensuring that support is directed where it's needed most.

Incorporating Securly Pass into your PBIS framework can significantly enhance the effectiveness of your program, leading to better student outcomes in terms of behavior, safety, and overall engagement.

Increased Accountability: Students take greater responsibility for their actions and movements, reducing incidents of tardiness and unauthorized absence. Students are accountable for their funding being used to gain access to the game room.

Data-Driven Interventions: Access to detailed behavior data allows for targeted interventions, improving the overall effectiveness of behavior management strategies.

Reduced Administrative Burden: Automation of behavior tracking and reporting reduces the workload for staff, allowing them to focus more on student engagement.

The grant will accomplish a decrease in student referrals for the school year. Office referrals would decrease by 20 percent of the year.
