Goal
Enhance Sensory Integration: Provide a variety of sensory tools that cater to different sensory needs, helping individuals improve their sensory processing skills.
Support Oral Fixation Needs: Offer a selection of safe, durable oral sensory tools to address oral fixation behaviors and promote oral motor development.
Promote Engagement and Focus: Equip our therapeutic and educational settings with engaging materials that facilitate learning and participation.

What will be done with my students
The primary purpose of this grant is to acquire supplies that will address sensory seeking behaviors and oral fixation needs among our clients. These supplies will be utilized in therapeutic settings, educational programs, and daily activities to help individuals self-regulate, improve concentration, and develop adaptive coping mechanisms. Students will have tool boxes with specific items designed to support their individual needs.
Benefits to my students
Decreased chewing of non edible items and tools, increased ability to participate in noisy environments, improved ability to remain on task and improve educational participation
Budget Narrative
Individual toolkits for students with sensory needs. Including a microwave cleaning bag for cleaning of toys and tools. Food exploration to increase tolerance for textures and tastes.
