Students will expand their knowledge through experiments to discover about light, magnets, weights, and sound.

What will be done with my students
Students will conduct experiments on their own and with teacher guidance during science center time each week. We will rotate the various discovery kits so that each child can learn about light, magnets, weights and sounds. This will enhance our current science curriculum with weekly hands-on activities.
Benefits to my students
Students will broaden their knowledge of basic science skills to prepare them for future academic success. They will learn through cause and effect and have fun with science.
Budget Narrative
The money will be used to purchase two discovery kits to be used weekly at science center time.
The kits will be purchased through Lakeshore Learning.
