Goal

Provide students with an actual practical application of their academic learning into real life situations. Further, to incorporate the third primary learning style of kinesthetic learning into the student's curriculum. Thereby, increasing the student's comprehension and mastery of skills taught within the course.

What will be done with my students

The students will use the equipment provided to demonstrate knowledge and a mastery of skills during practical phases of the course curriculum. The specified course objectives are as follows:

Benefits to my students

The students will first benefit from how their academic learning can be translated into real life situations. They will be able to experience some of the reality which surrounds each of the career clusters. The students will be able to incorporate the third learning style of primary learning throughout the curriculum. Finally, the students can be given an alternative method of assessment for demonstrating competency and mastery of skills.  

 

Budget Narrative

Exploration of Criminal Justice is a new CTE program that basically has no budget. Other than the standard school supplies and $150 for being a new teacher last year, I have no funds available.
