Goal

iTech's Accounting Operations program, students engage in a rigorous curriculum that includes analyzing transactions, preparing financial statements, payroll, and budgeting. These skills are essential for their future careers in finance and accounting. However, many students currently lack access to reliable calculators, which hinders their ability to complete assignments and grasp fundamental concepts.

What will be done with my students

a. Enhance Learning: Provide each student with a desktop calculator that facilitates their understanding of accounting principles.
b. Promote Equity: Ensure all students, regardless of their financial background, have the tools necessary to succeed.
c. Increase Engagement: Foster an interactive learning environment where students can confidently participate in classroom discussions and exercises.
 

 

Benefits to my students

By providing calculators, we aim to improve students’ academic performance and confidence in their accounting abilities. This investment will not only benefit current students but also future cohorts, creating a lasting impact on our accounting program.
