Goal

The goal of this project is to obtain retractable line barriers to establish an organized lunch line routine at our school. By implementing these barriers, we aim to maintain order during lunchtime, prevent students from skipping the line, and ensure a fair and equitable lunch experience for all students. This initiative will promote a respectful and orderly environment, allowing every student to wait their turn and receive their lunch in a timely and organized manner.

What will be done with my students

Improving our current lunch line routine will significantly enhance students’ overall learning experience by fostering a more orderly and respectful school environment. When students know they can rely on a fair and structured lunch routine, it reduces stress and potential conflicts. This project will also teach important life skills such as patience, fairness, and respect for others. By ensuring that every student has an equal opportunity to receive their lunch without the chaos of line-cutting, we create a more positive and inclusive atmosphere that supports both academic and social development. 

 

Benefits to my students

The expected outcome of implementing barriers is a more structured and efficient lunchtime experience for all students at Leto. It will minimize disruptions and reduce the likelihood of conflicts arising from line-cutting, which will create a more harmonious school environment. Students will benefit from a fair and orderly process, which can enhance their sense of security and well-being. Additionally, this will give all students a positive mindset, ultimately contributing to better focus and academic performance throughout the day. 

 

Budget Narrative

Each expandable barrier costs $139.99 on Amazon. To cover the two lunch lines at our school, we need a total of 6 barriers, which amounts to $839.94 (No tax included).
