Project Goal

My goal is to provide basic instrument necessities such as reeds, oil, cleaning supplies, and sheet music needs for my students so that they can participate in class. By providing these resources, you are allowing students to participate regardless of their financial status.

How Project Benefits Students

Your donation will allow several students to continue their participation in Band because you are providing the necessary items that are needed to make each instrument work. This will allow the money that the students raise by doing fundraisers throughout the year to be used towards the purchasing of new instruments instead of supplies. You are making their hard work count for something because they will be able to see the direct result of their hard work. Your donation also reiterates how important it is for the youth of today to have a positive outlet and that music is a great way for that to happen.

Expected Outcome(s)

By having a classroom of my own I can share my passion with the youth of today and hope that it inspires someone else to do the same. Sometimes music can reach someone that seemed like a lost cause and can turn them around to great things. By providing my students with the supplies that they need you are doing just that. You are giving someone a chance to be better. You are giving my students opportunities to find their own love of music.

Detailed Cost Summary

How many items of each are in the item description.
I am asking for multiple boxes of reeds for various instruments. Reeds are a necessary item for woodwind instruments to work.
I am also asking for mouthpieces for my 6th grade wheel instruments so that students don't have to share.
Valve oil for brass instruments so that the buttons will continue to slide and work
Drumsticks for my Percussion class and Drumline students so that they can play on the percussion equipment.
copy paper so that I can print out music, schedules, permission slips, reminders etc for the students and their parents.
Tuners so that the students can learn how to make an in-tune sound
Sheet protectors so that students can put their music in their binders
sanitizing spray/wipes - to keep their instruments clean and germ free
colored highlighters- used to highlight important information in their music
All items will be used by the students, and will allow them the opportunity to be successful in the classroom.
